Draftlytic — Write your spec before you start prompting

The AI PRD planner built for vibe coding. Stop going back and forth with your AI coding tool — Draftlytic turns your rough app idea into a structured spec so Claude Code, Cursor, or Lovable gets it right the first time.

The problem with prompting without a plan

You have an app idea. You open Claude Code, Cursor, or Lovable and start describing it. Three prompts later, the code doesn't match what you had in mind, you've lost context, and you're starting over — again.

Draftlytic sits between your idea and your first prompt. It helps you think through what you're building before you start asking AI to build it — so when you do, it has everything it needs to get it right.

How it works

Six steps from rough idea to a complete, AI-ready project spec.

1. Describe your idea

Tell Draftlytic about the app you want to build. Even a one-liner works — the AI asks smart follow-up questions to fill in the details.

2. AI generates your spec

Choose a depth level — Brief for a quick overview, Standard for a solid spec, or Detailed for a comprehensive plan — and Draftlytic generates a structured project with features, tech stack, screens, and more.

3. Refine and organize

Edit anything, drag-and-drop to reorder features, tweak priorities, and keep iterating until the plan matches what's in your head.

4. Export your spec

Download your complete project spec as Markdown, PDF, or Word doc (available on paid plans). Drop it into Claude Code, Cursor, or Lovable and start building with all the context your AI coding tool needs. On paid plans you can also push the spec straight to a GitHub repo — so your coding tool always reads the latest version.

5. Export an implementation plan

The PRD tells your AI coding tool what to build. The implementation plan (paid feature) turns that same project into a numbered sequence of how to build it — scaffolding first, then data model, auth, feature work in dependency order, each with a quick acceptance check. Pick which version (v1, v2, ...) you're tackling and paste the plan as a sharper kickoff prompt than the PRD alone.

6. Already have a spec? Refine it

The PRD Workshop lets you paste an existing spec and improve it with AI — sharpen requirements, fill gaps, and make it ready for your next build.

What Draftlytic gives you

Turn ideas into structure

AI takes your rough idea and turns it into a real project with a name, description, feature list, tech stack, and navigation map. No more half-baked prompts.

Never lose an idea

Keep all your project ideas in one dashboard. Whether you have 2 ideas or 20, everything stays organized and ready to pick back up.

Export-ready specs

Download a complete project spec file on paid plans. Feed it into Claude Code, Cursor, or Lovable — it has all the context to start building.

Who is Draftlytic for?

  • Vibe-coders who use AI coding tools to bring app ideas to life and want a clear spec before they start prompting.
  • Developers with side projects who have a backlog of ideas and need a fast way to capture and flesh them out before building.
  • Founders with a product idea who want to think it through and hand off a clear spec to a developer or AI coding tool.
